A tragic accident has been reported yesterday Aqaba General Cargo Terminal – at Aqaba’s New South port where a poisonous leak from an ISO tank left 12 people dead and more than 260 injured.

– Aqaba General Cargo Terminal is back to normal operations as of this morning with the exception of berth number 4 where the incident occurred as the authorities and security committees continue their work to complete their investigations and ensure that the berth is safe to resume normal operations.
– Government has also confirmed this morning that the situation in Aqaba is under control, life is back to normal, the gas leak has been controlled and air quality is back to normal levels and many injured are quickly recovering and leaving hospitals as of this morning.
